COVID-19 Jobsite Safety Compliance
COVID‐19 Jobsite Safety Compliance Service
We are pleased to offer our COVID-19 Jobsite Safety Compliance service. Paladin is a qualified Third Party Jobsite Safety Accountability Supervisor (JSAS), and we are prepared to help projects remain compliant.
The Health Departments in several California counties including San Francisco County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Contra Costa County, Alameda County, Marin County, and City of Berkeley have recently implemented a new protocol called ‘Large Construction Project (LCP)’, which requires the hiring of a 3rd party inspector to evaluate the COVID-19 protocol compliance. Projects required to have a Third Party JSAS conduct a COVID-19 Jobsite Safety Compliance Inspection and have a compliant report on file include residential projects consisting of more than 10 units, commercial projects consisting of more than 20,000 square feet of floor area, and construction of Essential Infrastructure requiring more than five workers on the jobsite.
All construction sites subject to this LCP protocol must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including OSHA and Cal-OSHA, prepare a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan to address COVID-19, provide PPE specifically for use in construction, ensure employees are trained in the use of PPE, prohibition of sharing PPE, implement appropriate social distancing measures, assign a COVID-19 Third-Party Jobsite Safety Accountability Supervisor (JSAS), remove any infected individual and properly sanitize, and seal off with physical barriers if work is done within a occupied/ shared residential and common area.
